> Projects

The Republic of Serbia has set the following as one of its priorities: becoming a member of the European Union as soon as possible, cooperation with all countries in the region, and establishing partner and friendly relations with all countries in Europe and the world. In this light, and as an institution in charge of the most important areas for everyday life of our citizens, the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs implements projects financed by EU funds, international donations and loans in the area of labour, employment, social policy and migration.

The objective of the projects is to advance the quality of social services and professional development of staff in centres for social work throughout Serbia. The implementation of projects helped by international partners aims to build the capacities of local self-governments and encourage their development, and also to continue with appropriate care of the migrant population and facilitate their integration into the society. Furthermore, through project activities, the Ministry contributes to the fight against domestic violence and grey economy, allowing victims to report violence, and workers to report illegal engagement.
