Pursuant to the Law on State and Other Holidays in the Republic of Serbia, state holidays are:
- New Year – 1 and 2 January
- Statehood Day – 15 February
- Labor Day – 1and 2 May
Religious holidays are:
- Christmas – 7 January
- Easter – as of Good Friday including the 2nd day of Easter
In addition to the holidays referred to, employees are entitled not to work on relevant religious holidays, namely:
- Orthodox believers – on the Family Saint’s Day
- Roman-Catholics and adherents of other Christian religious communities- on Christmas day and Easter as of Good Friday including the 2nd day of Easter, according to the calendar concerned.
- Moslems – on the 1st day of Bajram and the 1st day of Kurban Bajram
- Hebrews – on the 1st day of Yom Kippur
Holidays celebrated at workplace:
- St. Sava’s Day – 27 January
- Victory Day – 9 May
- St. Vitus’ Day – 28 June
